@supereater14 Yo! I did the same. Didn’t back up the wireless drivers >.> Any chance you’d be willing to share some drivers with a stranger from the internet?
And which image did you go with? I tried the rootnexus image for a lil bit but switched to sidetrack in the end.

July 20th, 2010 @15:23
only question, do you need wifi or internet connection?
July 20th, 2010 @15:59
I was thinking of getting the Z2, but seen they charged you, and it’s not that expandable.
I know you could reverse their firmware to get rid of the annoying stuff, and flash a new linux, but I’d wrather just go get something better like the Nokia 770/800/812.
July 20th, 2010 @16:15
do you have to pay monthly for it like a cell phone
July 20th, 2010 @17:05
Haha, yup
July 20th, 2010 @17:13
too bad the original OS is just useless, considering it’s just Linux without any freedom.
July 20th, 2010 @18:12
Or, you could use a shell program to keep the original OS intact as well
July 20th, 2010 @19:03
OR, you could put debian on the zipit z2 and then get emulators, a decent web browser (unlike the crappy mobile Safari), a mouse emulator, and even more.
July 20th, 2010 @19:32
Target has it for $49.99
July 20th, 2010 @20:01
@ramoj02 No $49.99 according Wikipedia.
